2005 Award Ceremony

The 6th presentation of the 2005 Nuremberg International Human Rights Award was held on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 11 p.m. in Nuremberg Opera House. The International Human Rights Award honoured the russian activist Tamara Chikunova. The tribute to the prizewinner held Nora Morales de Cortiñas Argentinian, human rights activist and co-founder of the organisation "Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo".

Bruno Schnell, editor and publisher of the Nürnberger Nachrichten and Nürnberger Zeitung donated the award money.
