Hirsvogelsaal (Hirsvogel Hall)

Hirsvogelsaal (Photo: Stefan Minx)

The Hirsvogel Hall of 1534 which is considered to be the most important Renaissance interior north of the Alps, found a new home in the garden of the Tucher Mansion. The interior with ornate wood panelling by Peter Flötner and its glorious ceiling painting by Dürer's pupil Georg Pencz was lavishly restored. Today, the Hirsvogel Hall is a perfect venue for intimate concert series. It seats about 70 persons. Lovers of chamber music or guitar concerts will have a wonderful time here.
