Theatre and Opera  

With its sections of opera, theatre and ballet, Nuremberg State Theatre is an important central element of the Nuremberg theatre scene which is supplemented by numerous independent theatre companies. Puppeteers, too, coming to Nuremberg from all over the world for the Puppet Theatre Festival, have conquered an established place in this scene. A Children's Cultural Centre, complete with museum and theatre, several more theatre groups and a forum acting as a network of activities for a young audience make Nuremberg a stronghold of children's culture.
