The panorama pictures show 23 historic and architectural treasures within the city, for you to admire in a 360 degree view.
Do come and visit the Nuremberg Christmas Market or have a look – at least a virtual glimpse – at the historic City Hall or at the Hospice of the Holy Spirit as seen from the Museum Bridge. All panorama pictures also have a detailed description of the things you see.
Framed by the towers and walls of the town's mediaeval fortifications, visitors can take a leisurely stroll around the Craftsmen’s Yard.
Immediately opposite the Craftsmen's Yard is the modern annexe to the K4 Cultural Centre, with Nuremberg's tourist information office, the NÜRNBERG INFO.
The New Museum is impressive for its architecture alone. Its slightly curved glass façade offers interesting views of the building's interior.
One of Nuremberg's most beautiful buildings: the Hospice of the Holy Spirit whose elegant arches span the River Pegnitz.
Colourful flowers, fruit and vegetables on the Main Market Square in the bright summer sun – here, shopping is pure enjoyment.
The sumptuous façade of the Old City Hall looks almost like an Italian palazzo. The oldest part of the building houses the splendid "Great Hall".
St Sebaldus' Church is the city's oldest parish church. Parts of the building date back to the 13th century.
In this beautiful square at Tiergärtnertor, below the Imperial Castle, you feel you have time-travelled straight back to the Middle Ages.
High above the city, on its steep sandstone rock, the Imperial Castle dominates the skyline, and acts as a symbol for Nuremberg.
The Imperial Castle Gardens are inviting for a stroll. This idyll is a small, but precious "green jewel".
Between the 15th and 19th century, the executioner lived here. The half-timbered house nearby, the "Weinstadel", served as a hospital for lepers in the Middle Ages.
In front of the Weißer Turm (White Tower) is the "Marriage Roundabout", a fountain of marble and bronze, from 1984.
The Opera House was built in 1905 in Art Nouveau style and is one of Germany's most beautiful theatre buildings.
On the way to the Germanische Nationalmuseum, visitors walk along the "Way of Human Rights" created by Israeli artist, Dani Karavan.
St. John's Cemetery is outside the Old Town. Famous Nuremberg citizens, such as Albrecht Dürer, were laid to rest here.
Every year, people from all over the world visit what is probably Germany's most famous Christmas Market on Nuremberg's Main Market Square.
The "Nuremberg Christmas Angel" is chosen every two years. You can meet her in person, whenever she visits "her" market.
