Trade Fairs and Congresses  

A fast underground link to the airport and the dynamic traffic guidance system are only some of the advantages of NürnbergMesse, one of the fastest-growing trade fair locations in Europe.

Annually more than 1.2 visitors come to about 100 events and about 50 specialist trade fairs and conferences, including the world's largest specialist trade fair for toys. For them the trade fair grounds offer more than 150,000 square metres of exhibition space and 76,000 square metres outdoor space.

The specialist trade fairs are characterised by a very high international appeal, with more than 70 per cent of the exhibitors and 50 per cent of the visitors coming from abroad.

Nuremberg as a trade fair centre has also become increasingly important as a conference and congress venue. Since spring 2005, the CNN CongressCenter Nürnberg has fulfilled highest demands with its overall capacity of 11,000 seats.

Major events are also staged in the Frankenhalle within the trade fair grounds, the Franken-Stadion as well as in the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung and in the Meistersingerhalle.
