Council for Immigration and Integration

The Council for Immigration and Integration looks after the concerns of foreigners living in Nuremberg. It contributes to improving the living conditions of foreigners in the city and to promoting human relations between the German and the foreign population groups within the city.

Particularly, the Council for Immigration and Integration has the task of advising the City Council in all issues concerning foreigners in Nuremberg which are within the municipal competence. This advice can either be provided by suggestions initiated by the Council or by comments invited by the City Council or the municipal administration.

The Council for Immigration and Integration currently comprises 30 elected members from 14 different nations.
