Within the city area of Nuremberg alone, the annual gross domestic product is approx. 22.3 billion euros. The entire Nuremberg Metropolitan Region generates a gross domestic product of approx. 106 billion euros - it therefore creates more economic activity than Hungary, for example, or the Baltic states taken together with Bulgaria.
