City of Glasgow College
Das City of Glasgow College ist ein Weiterbildungs- und Hochschulcollege in Glasgow. Es wurde 2010 gegründet, als das Central College, das Glasgow Metropolitan College und das Glasgow College of Nautical Studies zur größten Hochschule und technischen Einrichtung in Schottland fusionierten.
Die Modeschulen Nürnberg begannen die Partnerschaft zum Department of Applied Arts 2018, als mit dem Banner Projekt gegen Brexit protestiert wurde.
Am City und Riverside Campus arbeiten
- ca. 500 Lehrende mit
- 15 000 Lernenden in Aus- und Weiterbildungskursen an fünf Standorten.
In einem Projekt für das berufsbezogene Praktikum werden Entwürfe in verschiedenen Techniken erstellt und Motive weiterverarbeitet. Dafür werden folgende Kurse in unterschiedlicher Zusammenstellung angeboten:
- Kostümbild
- Aktzeichnen
- Schmuckherstellung
- Freie Gestaltung textiler Oberflächen
- Photoshop
